The library rules and regulations are to be followed by the members (bonafied students, faculty members and staff) of the institute.
  1.  No student is allowed to enter the library without his/her own identity card.
  2. The users must keep their personal belongings at the property counter including issued books and personal books.
  3. Use of mobile phones, speaker phone/head phones is strictly prohibited inside the library. Users are required to keep their mobile phones switched off.
  4.  Students are to produce their college identity card in the circulation counter at the time of borrowing of books.
  5. The library allows direct access to bookshelf. However, the users should not disturb the arrangement of books. They may leave any book taken out by them and keep it at the issue counter so that it can be properly restored by the library staff.
  6. The users are entitled to use library-cum-reading room for self study from the books/magazines available in the library.
  7. Spitting, smoking, drinking, eating or chewing of tobacco, sleeping, loitering , gossiping and mutual conversation  inside the library are strictly forbidden. Similarly, unruly behavior is not allowed in the library. This is of utmost importance to maintain a calm environment within the library. Appropriate action will be taken for breaking the rules.
  8. Users assume the obligation of keeping the library materials in good condition. Materials damaged, defaced or lost must be replaced by a fresh copy. Otherwise two times cost of the book at current/market price will be realized from the borrower. Dis figuration, damage or marking of any kind on any book or any other material belonging to the library is punishable with fine.
  9. Readers should be courteous to the library staff and fellow students.
  10.  If in any case the authority feels a student/user is disturbing other users, he/she may be disallowed entry  the library
  11. Admission to the library may be restricted to anyone who violates the library rules and regulations.
  12.  Suggestions for the desirable help or improvement of facilities in the library can be submitted, preferably in written form to the Librarian.
